Dawn E. (Yohey) Deska

Dawn E. Deska, 75, of Catawissa went to be with the Lord, Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Dawn was born Sept. 29, 1943, a daughter of the late Clarence Yohey and Abbie (Cox) Yohey Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Derl Wynings, in 2015, and her stepfather, Roy “Sparky” Adams.
Dawn attended Catawissa schools, was a member of the Lightstreet United Methodist Church, and a member of the Tole Painting Society.
Dawn is survived by her husband, Dennis Deska, to whom she was married on Sept. 2, 2001; fi ve children: Dean Wynings of Berwick, Dwayne “Whip” Wynings, Elysburg, Darren “Crow” Wynings of Catawissa, Wade Wynings and wife Sue of Mainville, and Amy Deschaine and husband Michael of Berwick; seven stepchildren: Beth Casaldi and husband David of Berwick, Dwayne Deska and wife Kim of Catawissa, twins, Wade Deska and wife Joanne of Berwick, Ward Deska of Dimmick, Charlene Shultz and husband Randy of Bloomsburg, Kelly Deska of Millville, and Rose Hubbard of Shamokin; 46 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Theodore Yohey of Montoursville, Wayne Yohey and his wife, Margie, of Catawissa; three sisters: Edith Shoffl er of Catawissa, Linda Klatt and husband Charlie of Catawissa, and Judy DeGhetto of Catawissa.
Services will be Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, at noon, from the Allen R. Horne Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 193 McIntyre Road, Catawissa, PA 17820, with her pastor, the Rev. Jennifer Parks Snyder, offi ciating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service.
