Donald Edwin Mills

Donald Edwin Mills, 72, of Catawissa went to be with our Lord on Monday, April 29, 2019, surrounded by his family.

Donald was born November 28, 1946, in Danville a son of the late Ralph E. and Ruth (John) Mills Jr.

He was a graduate of Southern Columbia High School and worked in retail sales for most of his life. He was a life member of American Legion Post 541 where he also served as Chaplain, he was a member of the Plymouth Owners Club, Roaring Creek Historical Society, and his hobby was cars. He served in the US Army Reserves for 12 years.

Donald is survived by four brothers, Larry Mills and his wife Katherine of Bloomsburg, Barry Mills and his wife Irene of Catawissa, Gerald Mills and his wife Alice of Liberty Township, OH and Tom Mills of Burleson, TX; four sisters, Pam Williams and her husband Glenn of Catawissa, Sylvia Richer and her husband Art of Bloomsburg, Mary Woodruff and her partner Lon Gilger of Catawissa, and Tracey Wilson and her husband Richard of Catawissa; several nieces and nephews and his fur kids, Baby, Zeus, Puddles, and Poco.

Services will be Friday, May 3, 2019 at 3:00pm from the Allen R. Horne Funeral Home & Cremation Services 193 McIntyre Rd. Catawissa Pa. 17820, with his Pastor David Rosenberger officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received Friday, May 3, 2019 from 1:00pm till 3:00pm at the funeral Home.
