Lois Linn Obituary

Lois V. Linn, 83, of Elverson, formerly of Catawissa, passed away at her residence Monday, June 18, 2018.

Lois was born Feb. 20, 1935, in Catawissa, a daughter of the late Edna (Brobst) and Joseph Linn. Lois graduated from Catawissa High School in 1953. A resident of Catawissa for more than 75 years, Lois worked in various garment factories in Catawissa and was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. In addition to her career as a garment worker, Lois was the caregiver for many family members.

Lois was one of eight children and was preceded in death by the following siblings: her sisters, Martha and Donna Jean Linn; as well as her brothers: Francis, James Robert Sr. (Aldona) and Harold (Alma).

She is survived by two brothers: Ronald (Alice) in Bloomsburg, and Clifford (Dorothy) in Catawissa, in addition to her sister-in-law, Dawn Linn.
Lois is also survived by her loving and devoted niece and nephews, James R. Linn Jr., (Beth) Marietta, Ga., Todd A. Linn (Stephanie), Oreland, and Karen K. Parks (Brian), Glenmoore. Other nieces include Bette Jo, Melinda, Marsha and Jan. Lois loved and enjoyed the company of her grand-nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Noah, Emily, Sarah, Anya, and Gretchen.
A private service will take place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lois’ name may be given to the local SPCA, Central PA Center in Danville, 1467 Bloom Road, Danville, PA 17821.
