Ruth M (Bunge) Breech

Ruth M. (Bunge) Breech, 94, of Catawissa Township, passed away December 31, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center. She was born June 8, 1924, in Mill Grove, the daughter of the late Edgar and Alice (Hoagland) Bunge.

Ruth graduated in 1942 from the former Catawissa High School. She was a member of Christ United Evangelical Lutheran Church. Ruth worked at Emenee Shirt Factory in Catawissa and helped on the family farm. She was dedicated to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pierce, who passed away in 2006 ending a martial span of 62 years, a brother, Lee Bunge, and a sister Lucille Bunge.

She is survived by a son Jack L. Breech and a daughter, Shirley M. Breech both of Catawissa Township, and two grandchildren Jaclyn (Jackie) and Jared Breech both of California.

Services will be Monday January 7, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Allen R. Horne Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 193 McIntyre Road, Catawissa with Pastor Melody Sell officiating. Burial will follow at Elan Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service.
