Wayne L. Brassington, 71, of Catawissa left Earth, Thursday April 18, 2019, to spend time with his Mother and Father. He was born February 7, 1948 in Danville, a son of the late Elwood and Ellen (Fetterman) Brassington. He will be sadly missed by his sister Nancy Breech and her husband Dale, brother Daniel Brassington, and adopted sister Nancy Yost all of Catawissa.
He graduated from Southern Columbia High School. Wayne worked hard all of his life at Milco Industries and on the family farm. He enjoyed his lovely dogs Barney and Pebbles who adored him so much and will sorely miss their walks with him. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, avid marksman, and target shooting. He was a member of the NRA.
There are not enough words to describe Wayne. He was loved by all who he met, and had a smile to give back in return. He will be thought of every single day by family and friends, and Barney and Pebbles.
He passed without suffering, and is blessed for that. Life will be tough without him, but he would want us to keep forging on.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may send online condolences to allenrhornefuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Wayne’s memory may be sent to Animal Resource Center, PO Box 439, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
The Allen R. Horne Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 193 McIntyre Road, Catawissa is handling arrangements.
