Alice Dawn (Gotshall) Linn

Alice Dawn Linn, 95, of Catawissa passed away on April 10, 2025 at Emmanual Center. She was born May 20, 1929 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Leon and Hattie (Achy) Gotshall.

She graduated from Catawissa High School and worked at Emenee Shirt Factory and Geisinger Medical Center in housekeeping. Alice enjoyed traveling, gardening, being in her back yard, and watching her bird feeders.

Alice is survived by her daughter Janis Linn Boop husband John of Catawissa, and four step grandchildren.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband Francis Linn, daughter Ann Marie Melick, and her cat Thomas Rufus who was the best companion for 18 years.

Alice’s family would like to thank all of the staff at Emmanual Nursing Home for their great care and compassion.
