Barbara J (Stine) Sharrow

Barbara J. Sharrow, 70, of Catawissa passed away Friday December 8, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born May 24, 1947 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Monroe and Leah Arlene (Johnson) Stine.

She graduated from Southern Columbia High School. Barbara worked at Southern Columbia School District as an aide and enjoyed helping the children. She attended First United Methodist Church. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.

Barbara is survived by her husband Harold “Duff” Sharrow, daughter Debbie Lombardi and husband David of Ephrata, granddaughter Claire Lombardi, brother James M. Stine and wife Elaine of Perrysburg, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. Barbara has a special place in her heart for her niece, Amy Rhoads who she took under her wing.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday December 16, 2017 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at 578 Shuman Street, Catawissa, PA 17820.

In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be sent to Catawissa First United Methodist Church, 228 South Street, Catawissa PA 17820 or Animal Resource Center, 301-A Boone Road, Bloomsburg PA 17815.
