Betty G. (Hood) Clark

Betty G (Hood) Clark, 81, of Trevorton, passed away peacefully and woke up in heaven on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Sunbury Skilled Nursing Facility, Sunbury, PA.

She was born at home in Richfield, Pa on March 27, 1943. Her parents are the late Lutian Alton Hood and Gertrude (Braddock) Hood. She graduated from Middleburg High School in the class of 1961.

She worked various jobs in her lifetime including Mandata Poultry, Clark Poultry, Paxinos, Uni-Mart, Millersburg, Knoebels, Elysburg and Wal-Mart Bakery in Coal Township.

Betty cherished spending time with her family and was instantly loved by anyone that met her. She was affectionately called 'The Ancient One', which always made her laugh. Betty loved the Lord and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Selinsgrove, PA where she attended every service until her recent illness. Her warm smile will be greatly missed by everyone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Hood, her sister, Lois Wirt, a daughter-in-law, Tonia Clark, and a granddaughter, Patti Clark.

She is survived by a son, Michael B Clark II, and his wife Diane of Trevorton, a son, Steven Clark, of Coal Township, seven grandchildren, Tiffany E Clark, Rachel M. Clark, Michael B Clark, III, Emily N Clark, Katye P Clark, Luis W Clark & Joseph J Holland, two great-grandchildren, Nolan M. Hassinger and Oliver R. Ballerino, a Brother, Paul Hood and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday March 8, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Victory Baptist Church, 56 Abby Road, Selinsgrove, PA.
