Bonnie K. Kitchen, 58, of Catawissa, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday June 17, 2020, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa.
Bonnie was born April 4, 1962, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Richard C. Walters Sr. and Barbara (Huntington) Gottshall. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard C. Walters Jr.
Bonnie was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School Class of 1980. She was a housewife and she served with Southside Area Ambulance in Catawissa for over 30 years. She loved all animals, traveling, going on cruises, and going to the beach with her sisters.
Bonnie is survived by her husband James H. Kitchen whom she married in 1981; two sisters, Tammy Heckman and her husband Shawn of Benton, Dolly Gotschal and her husband Rob of Bloomsburg, brother Doyle L. Walters of Bloomsburg; many nieces and nephews; and her many animals which she considered her children.
Services will be held on Monday June 22, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Allen R. Horne Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 193 McIntyre Road, Catawissa with the Rev. Gretchen Johanson officiating. Burial will follow at Elan Memorial Park, 5595 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg. Family will receive friends from 9:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
