Brad W. Fahringer, 61, of Milton passed from life to life eternal surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, December 26, 2016 at Emmanuel Center, Danville. He was born September 27, 1955 in Bloomsburg, a son of Eleanor (Mowery) Fahringer and the late Charles W. Fahringer.
He graduated from Southern Columbia High School class of 1973 and then joined the Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He was driver of the year in 2007 from Yellow Transporation, Inc. and retired from New Penn Motor Express in 2015. Brad enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working, and traveling. He was a life member of Valley Chemical Fire Co. where he was former Captain of the Fire Police, Foot Log Rod and Gun Club, Southside Conservation Club, and a member of the Teamster Local 764 of Milton. Brad was an active member of Numidia Valley Bible Fellowship Church.
Brad is survived by a son Jeremy R. Fahringer of Catawissa, and three brothers; Dennis Fahringer and wife Marsha of Catawissa, Clay Fahringer and wife Betsy of Danville, Michael Fahringer and wife Denise of Mechanicsburg, two nephews and three nieces, as well as his loving companion Pattie Dearman. Brad will be dearly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00 am at Numidia Valley Bible Fellowship, 42 Ringtown Mountain Rd, Catawissa, PA 17820 with Pastor Chris Dunlap officiating.
