Bruce Rosenbaum

Bruce Rosenbaum, 76, of Catawissa, went to be with the Lord Saturday May 6, 2017 under Hospice at Maria Hall, Danville. He was born June 20, 1940 in Bristol, Tennessee, a son of the late Herman and Hattie (Simerly) Rosenbaum.

He was a graduate of Weaver High School in Bristol, Tennessee. Bruce served in the Army, and worked as a Union Carpenter for many years. For over 22 years he and his wife did fundraising around the country. Bruce loved fishing and music. He was a celebrated author; his book was My Own Life and Death Experience. From 2000 till present, he and Rita spent time at their home in Florida and Catawissa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Herman (HD) Rosenbaum, and two sisters, Mary Jane Sawyer, and Lillie Mae Maines.

Bruce is survived by his wife whom he married on February 6, 1970, Rita (Longenberger) Rosenbaum, son Bruce W. Rosenbaum and wife Kim of Catawissa, two daughters; Dr. Lori Heller and husband Rodney of Bloomsburg, and Angie Teoli and husband John of University Park, PA. He has seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sister Katherine Sara Malala, and brother Herbert A. Rosenbaum, both of Mt. City, Tennessee.

A celebration of his life will be held July 8, 2017 at 1:00 pm at 110 Middle Road, Catawissa, PA 17820.
