Dale D Breech

Dale D. Breech 76, of rural Catawissa, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at his home, early Sunday morning, July 16, 2023.

He was born May 21, 1947, in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Robert and Marion (Kase) Breech. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Judy McBride.

Dale was a graduate of Southern Columbia High School Class of 1965 where he participated in football. After graduation he joined the United States Navy, serving in the Vietnam Conflict till 1970. Dale was an avid sportsman, and an avid fisherman, with over 50 years of Canadian trips with family and friends. He enjoyed being an avid storage war bidder with his wife, in which together they became well known for their famous yard sales reselling items and meeting new friends throughout the area. Dale was a member of the Catawissa Lions Club. He enjoyed endless hours with his two dogs, Duke, and Addy, in which much love was shared. Dale and his unique personality will be missed by all. 

Dale is survived by his loving wife, the former Nancy Brassington whom he married in May of 1997, son Sean Breech of Catawissa, two stepsons, Michael Welsh of Maryland, and Steve Welsh of Catawissa. Also, by two brothers, Larry Wolf and his wife Marylou of Catawissa and Jack Breech and his wife Sherry of Martinsburg West Virginia, and all his lovely nieces and nephews, whom he will miss sadly.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
