David Andrew Hess, 48, of Danville, Pennsylvania passed away on November 1, 2025.
Born on July 27, 1977, in Columbia, South Carolina, to Ted and Irene Hess, David brought joy and laughter to those around him throughout his life.
David was known for his warm heart and infectious sense of humor. His goofy nature and loving spirit made him a cherished presence among friends and family alike. A true enthusiast of adventure and the outdoors, David found great joy in off-roading in his jeep and had an indescribable love for being on his motorcycle.
He also had a keen interest in knife collecting, appreciating both their craftsmanship and utility.
A devoted dog lover, David shared a special bond with his four fur-babies who remain at home. His love for animals reflected his gentle nature and capacity for unconditional affection.
The people who loved him are too numerous to mention individually. David made an impact on everyone he met, always willing to help, and never failed to have a joke ready to go.
David is survived by his beloved wife of seventeen years, Candyce; his Aunt Diane Mack (John), Uncle Curtis Robbins (Helen), cousins Wyatt Mack, Barb (Dale) English, Lindsay English, sister-in-law, Brittany Westberry of Florida, and his favorite non-biological sisters Laura Smith, (Andy) of New Jersey and Ashleigh Snodgrass of Florida. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene, and his grandmother Helen.
May David’s memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire moments of laughter and love.
At David’s request there will be no services. Please take the time to remember and celebrate David in your own way.
