David E Marks

David E. Marks, 65, of Catawissa, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 8, 1958, in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Larue and Mae (Levan) Marks. He attended Southern Columbia High School and then worked at various construction jobs. He enjoyed woodworking and mowing his grass.

David is survived by two sisters: Betty Rambo, husband, Charles, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Deborah Marks of Catawissa; fiancée, Maggie Hamilton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents, as well as two brothers: Larue and George Marks.

Services will be Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Allen R. Horne Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 193 McIntyre Road, Catawissa, with Pastor Mike Spagnuolo officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service.
