Dennis W. Creasy

Dennis W. Creasy, 83, of Benton passed away on Thursday December 25, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born August 17, 1942 in Catawissa, a son of the late Ralph and Alverna (Breech) Creasy.

He graduated from Catawissa School and retired from the Post Office where he was a rural postal carrier. Dennis enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, going camping, old cars, and the company of his dog Maggie. He went cross country on his motorcycle twice. He was a member of Gold Wing Riders Association.

Dennis is survived by his wife the former Carolyn Sellner, two sons; John Creasy wife Brenda of Auburn, Gregory Creasy wife Faye of Catawissa, six grandchildren; Trent Creasy, Cassandra Kline, Wanda Thompson, Lisa Bialecki, Robyn Astrove, Rexford Weller IV., eleven great-grandchildren, brother Max Creasy wife Nena of Somes Bar, CA, and sister Deb Danilowicz of Danville. 

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents as well as his first wife the former Judith A. Shernesky.
