Donald R. Snyder

Donald Snyder 88, of Numidia, went to be with the Lord, Friday April 3, 2020 at his residence.

Donald was born September 7, 1931, in Girard Manor Pa; a son of the late Frank and Mary (Hill) Snyder. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five siblings; James Snyder, Emma Stanchock, Leonard Snyder, Kenneth Snyder and Dale Snyder.

Donald attended Catawissa Schools and at the age of 17, he joined the United States Air Force and stayed there for over 20 years retiring as a Staff Sargent. Donald enjoyed spending time outside. After retiring from the service he went to driving truck for Cole’s Hardware.

Donald is survived by five siblings, Carl Snyder and his wife Jean of Catawissa, Lucille Morrison of Bloomsburg, Geraldine McWilliams of Bloomsburg, MaryLue Wolfe and her husband Larry of Catawissa and Linda Hoffman and her husband Donald of Catawissa, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at Elan Memorial Park.
