Donna J (Yeager) Swank

Donna J. Swank, 65, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born August 11, 1959, in Bloomsburg, she was a daughter of the late John and Janice (Tyson) Yeager.

Donna was a 1978 graduate of Southern Columbia Area High School. Following graduation, she raised her three children and was employed as a certified nursing assistant at The Gardens at Orangeville Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Donna was a faithful member of Numidia Valley Bible Fellowship. She enjoyed arts, crafts, painting knick knacks and going to the Covered Bridge festival. Most of all Donna loved and cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter.

Surviving are her three children Heather Swank (Emily) of Tyrone, Shawna Schultz (Derick Rosencrance) of Jacksonville, NC, and Eric Swank (Danielle Rathbun) of Bloomsburg; nine grandchildren Cheyenne, Jesse, Auron, McCoy, Colton, Dakota, Jesse Jr., Sterling, and Kaneyan; a great-granddaughter Karina; and two sisters Kerry Wargo (Dale) of Numidia and Lori Moyer (Bob) of Jacksonville, NC.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 30 at Allen R. Horne Funeral Home and Cremation Services 193 McIntyre Rd., Catawissa with Pastor Chris Dunlap officiating. Burial will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. Family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday, June 29 at the funeral home.
