Douglas R Woodward

Douglas R. Woodward Sr. 62 of Catawissa passed away at home on Tuesday June 11, 2024.
He was born in Somers, Point,New Jersey on June 25, 1961 to the late Clifton and Clara (Meyer) Woodward.
He grew up mostly in the Galloway Township area of New Jersey, graduating from Absegami high school in 1979. He went on to complete army training at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. He worked mainly as a mechanic before moving to Shickshinny Pennsylvania. The surrounding area has been his home ever since with Catawissa being his final residence.
He enjoyed varied interest such as cars, motorcycles, flea markets, magnet fishing, and his greatest joy in life, playing with his grandchildren.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother Wayne Woodward of New Jersey. Doug is survived by his four children Douglas Jr, of Florida, Krystle Orlando of New Jersey, AJ Woodward (Amanda) of Pennsylvania and Ashley Pringle (Nick) of Texas as well as the 13 grandchildren that he adored. He is also survived by siblings Ralph Senf (Debi) of New Jersey and Stephanie Rivas (Eddie) also of New Jersey.
A private service was held at the convenience of the family.
