Elizabeth L. Lewis, 91, of Elysburg, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024, at Emmanuel Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born April 7, 1933, in Locust Township, a daughter of the late Charles Adam and Elizabeth Lillian (Martz) Bittner.
She graduated from Numidia High School and then joined the United States Air Force being honorably discharged Nov. 1, 1954. Elizabeth worked at the Danville State Hospital as a nurse’s aide. She enjoyed horseback riding and fishing.
Elizabeth is survived by three daughters: Leanna Moyer, husband, Craig, of Bloomsburg, Kathleen Reed of Catawissa, Jacqueline Conrad, husband, Michael, of Elysburg; three grandchildren: Katina Zechman, Michael Conrad, Kolton St. Clair; four great-grandchildren: Kennedy, Landon, Adrian, and Parker. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Geisinger Hospice for their wonderful care.
