Enoch “Red” Neidig, 63, of Elysburg passed away October 13, 2016 at University of Maryland Hospital. He was born June 25, 1953 in Sunbury, a son of Betty Loudy of Sunbury and the late Arthur Neidig.
He graduated from Shikellamy High School class of 1971. Enoch retired from Holsum Butter Krust in Norry and then worked at Knoebels Amusement Resort. He was a member of Valley Chemical Fire Company where he was the Captain of the Fire Police and the Clark’s Grove United Methodist Church. Enoch enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley motorcycle.
Enoch is survived by his wife the former LuAnn Adams whom he married December 24, 1975, two children Christine Neidig of Bel Air, MD, Nathan Neidig and fiancé Alaina Mays of Elysburg, and sister Mary Jane High and husband Bruce of Harrisburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers contribution in his memory may be sent to Valley Chemical Fire Co. Fire Police, 1223B Numidia Dr., Catawissa, PA 17820.
A celebration of life bbq will be held Monday October 17, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Neidig residence.
