Erma V. Snyder 88, of Catawissa, passed away Thursday February 25, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center. She was born September 18, 1927 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Evelyn Girton-Eifert.
She attended schools in Bloomsburg, and then worked on her farm with her husband Carl.
Erma is survived by three children; Bonnie L. Smoyer and husband Leonard of Berwick, Donna J. Mason and husband Brian of Catawissa, and Dennis E. Snyder of Catawissa, 7 grandchildren; Mary Trapane, Carl Smoyer, Chaia Bower, Keela Mason, Diana Snyder, Donnette Snyder, and Danielle Snyder, and three great-grandchildren; Evie Trapane, Jacob and Lily Snyder. As well as four step-sisters; Joan, Ethel Gloria, and Kay.
Erma was preceded in death by her husband Carl Snyder who passed away April 25, 1982 and a brother Johnny.
Services will be Monday February 29, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Allen R. Horne Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Mike Spagnuolo officiating. Burial will follow at New Rosemont Cemetery.
