Franklin Martz Obituary

Franklin Martz went to be with his Lord on June 21, 2018. After a long battle with brain cancer. He was 75 years old.

He graduated from Central Columbia High School in 1962. He worked for Campbell’s, Delmonte, Star Kist, Heinz, KKR and Smuckers for forty five years. He played Skippy the dog for picnics and for special kids. He could always make you laugh and tell great hunting stories. He raised wonderful bird dogs. He was a member of Shiloh Bible Church in Almidia, a head usher for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Sarah (Church) Martz and his brother Paul Martz.

He was married to his high school sweet heart Trudy I. (Wolfe) for fifty five years, a son Mark S. Martz and his wife Laura and two granddaughters Alexandria Martz and Airlia Martz, three sisters Peg and her husband James Fergison of Greenburg, Sarah and her husband Harold Hough of Berwick, Gertrude and her husband Bruce Singley of Millville and a brother Howard Martz and his wife Florence of Mifflinville.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.  Family and friends may send condolences at www.allenrhornefuneralhome.com.  The Allen R. Horne Funeral Home and Cremation Service 193 McIntyre Rd. Catawissa, Pa 17820 is handling the arrangements
