Gerald (Jerry) Blaine Fahringer

Gerald (Jerry) Blaine Fahringer, 71, of Catawissa passed away on June 21, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born March 31, 1951 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Blaine and A. (Agnes) Irene (Berger) Fahringer.

He graduated from Southern Columbia High School and received his associates degree from Williamsport Community College. Jerry worked at Zenith and at Knoebels as a ride operator. He enjoyed going hunting, fishing, mowing grass, photography, model trains, and going with friends to Luna’s and Woody’s to eat.

Jerry is survived by his wife the former Joann Feudale, son Michael Fahringer of Kulpmont, daughter Mary Creveling husband Matt of Georgia, and granddaughter Sophie.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother James Fahringer.

A celebration of life will be held Monday July 11, 2022 at 10:30 am at the Allen R. Horne Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 193 McIntyre Road, Catawissa with Father Dennis Dalessandro officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 9:30 am until time of service at the funeral home.
