Glen V. (Sandy) LeVan 86, of Catawissa, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday July 28, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Glen was born February 16, 1934, in Catawissa, a son of the late Vaughn and Florence (Thrash) LeVan.
He attended high school in Catawissa. Glen served in the United States Army, retiring after 23 years, where he received the Distinguished Rifleman Badge. He was a tool and die maker for the former Textron Plant in Danville, also T.R.W. and the former Maxi in Catawissa. He did a lot of competitive shooting, it was what he lived for, and he also enjoyed mowing his grass. Glen owned two sporting goods stores for a time.
Glen is survived by his son Mark A. LeVan and his wife Malen of Catawissa, one grandson Caleb LeVan, one step grandson Mitchell Walp, sister Gloria Breech of Catawissa, and sever nieces and nephews.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife the former Jacqueline (Jackie) Brassington who passed on June 6, 2016, and son James V. LeVan who died in 1972. Also by siblings, Darris, Marjorie, Carol, Marlin, Neil and Lee.
Services will be Monday August 3, 2029 at 11:00 am, from the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 706 Central Rd Bloomsburg Pa. 17815, with Pastor John Kolenda officiating, burial will follow at Elan Memorial Park.
