Helen M. (DeFrain) Richardson

Helen Richardson 67, of Catawissa went to be with the Lord Wednesday at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Helen was born June 14, 1948, in Sugarloaf Township, a daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Lareault) DeFrain Sr.
Helen went to school at Rock Glen. She loved Mork and Misty, her fur babies. Helen enjoyed crafts, needle work, reading and baking. She loved Life, helping and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She belonged to the Catawissa Christian Church. She was a resident of Catawissa for four years.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Feifer and her husband, Matthew, Nuremberg; Theresa Mosley, Iowa; and Margret Grusastkie Simon and her husband, Derrick, Missouri; a son, Thomas G. Grusastkie Jr., at home; eight grandchildren, Kenneth Batton, Samantha Epps, Timothy Grusastkie, Wayne Allen Pryor, Jessica Pryor, Terry Pryor Jr., Kayla Marie Feifer and Sara Elizabeth Rimmer; three brothers, Paul DeFrain Jr. and his wife, Joyce, West Hazleton; Raymond DeFrain and his wife, Elizabeth, McAdoo; and Garry DeFrain and his wife, Theresa, Berwick; an aunt, Marion Danowsky, Lewisburg; and several nieces and cousins.
Services will be at the convenience of the family, with a memorial service in the spring.
