James Yost Obituary

James C. “Jim” Yost, 75, of Danville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday April 15, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born on March 8, 1946 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Charles and Sara (Fetterman) Yost.

He graduated from Southern Columbia High School. Jim enjoyed running Yost Farm Market, going hunting, watching football and Western Movies.

Jim is survived by his wife the former Jacqueline M. David, three children; James E. Yost wife Nancy of Numidia, Joan Y. Yost and companion John Coleman of Bloomsburg, Charles D. Yost wife Jennifer of Bloomsburg, two stepchildren; James Emmons wife Claudia of Canada, and LyonneSnyder husband Brian of Elysburg, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As well as twin brothers Richard Yost wife Linda, Dale Yost wife Margret, all of Numidia, two sisters; Doris Young of South Bend, Indiana, Althea Carol of Milton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents as well as his first wife Sara, second wife Alma “Sue”, brother Robert Yost, and granddaughter Emma.

Services will be at the convenience of the family at All Saints Cemetery.
