John Yeager

John Yeager, 84, of Catawissa, passed away Saturday, January 04, 2020 at his home.

He was born April 23, 1935 in Bear Gap, a son of the late John and Flourence (Artley) Yeager.

He attended Bear Gap Schools. He worked at TRW for thirty eight years and was a lifelong farmer.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Janice (Tyson) Yeager who passed January 4, 1999, two brothers Melvin and Roy Yeager and two sisters Betty Lorencen and Dorothy Linn.

John is survived by three daughters Donna Swank of Bloomsburg, Lori and her husband Bob Moyer of Lititz and Kerry and her husband Dale Wargo of Catawissa, eight grandchildren: Heather, Shawna, Eric, Amanda, Amber, Autumn, Danny and Kiera and sixteen great grandchildren and a sister Mary and her husband Marvin Levan.

Service will be Monday, January 13, 2020 at 12:00pm at Allen R. Horne Funeral Home & Cremation Services 193 McIntyre Rd. Catawissa, Pa 17820, with Pastor Chris Dunlap officiating.  Burial will be at Elan Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.  Family and friends may send condolences at www.allenrhornefuneralhome.com.
