Joseph Oscar Breech

                Joseph Oscar Breech, 55, of Muncy, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016 in Muncy.

                He was born April 8, 1961 in Bloomsburg, a son of Shirley (Bredbenner) Breech of Muncy and the late Donald Breech.

                Joe graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1979.  He then joined the United States Marine Corps serving for three years.  He went on to work for the Columbia County Prison before going on to work for the Federal Corrections where he attained the rank of Lieutenant.  Upon retiring from the Federal Corrections he ran a family business as a wood craftsman.

                Joe enjoyed woodworking, craft shows, hunting and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed always having his pets in his company.

                In addition to his mom he is also survived by his wife of thirty one years, the former Virginia Baranyak, his children: Katie Breech Klock and her husband Blake of Lighstreet, Karen Breech Hoppes and her husband Joshua of Tower City and Daniel Breech at home and three grandchildren: Gabriel and Eli Hoppes and Brylee Klock. He is also survived by a brother Samuel Breech and his wife Susan of Mainville and many nieces and nephews.

                Memorial service will be held Friday, November 18, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Allen R. Horne Funeral Home & Cremation Services 193 McIntyre Rd. Catawissa, Pa with Pastor Mike Spagnuolo officiating.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
