K. Joanne (Mensch) Hess

               K. Joanne Hess, 81, of Catawissa passed away Wednesday October 14, 2015 at Balance Care, Bloomsburg. She was born September 19, 1934 in Danville, a daughter of the late Reginald and Effie (Mowery) Mensch.

                She graduated from Ralpho Township High School. Kathryn worked for Abracinskas Nurseries and Emenee Shirt Factory. She loved dancing. She belonged to Sonestown American Legion and Muncy Valley American Legion.

                Kathryn is survived by a sister Janice Tennis of Catawissa and two step brothers; Ned Lindemuth and wife Jeanne of Catawissa, and Noel Lindemuth and wife Pat of Catawissa.

                Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Zender Hess.
