Obituary
L. Lorraine Sevison 86, formally of Catawissa, went to be with the Lord, Monday June 5, 2023, at Vintage Knolls in Danville where she has been a resident since 2021. She was born, August 25, 1936, in Catawissa, a daughter of the late Carl and Lena (Blass) Bucher.
She was a graduate of Catawissa High School. Lorraine worked as a teacher’s aid at the Catawissa Elementary School and then for Hutchinson Insurance Company in Bloomsburg. She was in the auxiliary in both the Catawissa American Legion Post 541 and The V.F.W. Post 8306 and was a former Lions member in Catawissa. Lorraine enjoyed doing puzzles of all kinds, crosswords and reading, she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Paul Sevison, whom she married on May 9, 1959, three children; Paula Schleich and her husband Paul of Bloomsburg, Kenneth Sevison and his wife Kathy of Milton, and Timothy Sevison and his wife JoAnn of Harrisburg, and one grandson Derrick Schleich.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Bucher.
