Larry L. Dove, 67, of Catawissa passed away Thursday April 6, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center. He was born August 8, 1949 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Lewis U. and Lella (Temple) Dove.
He graduated from Bloomsburg High School class of 1967 and then attended W.A.C. in Williamsport. He worked for Merck in Danville as construction supervisor. He was a member of N.R.A. and SASS society. Larry enjoyed shooting guns, western movies, and gardening.
Larry is survived by his wife the former Sherry LeVan, whom he married June 6, 1981, son Larry L. Dove Jr. and wife Deniene of Enola, PA, grandson Alec Dove, two brothers; Michael Dove and wife Michelle of Bloomsburg, and Lee R. Dove and wife Christine of White Marsh, MD, and sister Kathi DeLucca and husband Frank of Bloomsburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents as well as sister Donna Douglas.
A memorial service will be held Saturday April 15, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Mill Grove Church, 1 Pension Street, Catawissa with Pastor David Adams officiating. Family and friends may send online condolences to allenrhornefuneralhome.com.
