Lourdes Aurora Ramos Reyes

Lourdes Aurora Ramos Reyes, 78, of Catawissa passed away on Tuesday February 24, 2026 at her residence. She was born February 11, 1948 in Havana City, Cuba, a daughter of the late Eliseo Juan Ramos Bayon and Georgina Alejandrina Reyes Argain.

She graduated from High School and then received her Master of Technical Sciences Degree in Mining Engineer-Geophysicist from Geological Prospecting Institute in Moscow, Russia. Lourdes worked as a geophysics engineer for the Department of Geology.

Lourdes is survived by two daughters: Daria of Pennsylvania and Hebe of Nebraska, two grandchildren; Eli and Luka, and two cousins; Mayra and Bertha.
