Lydia C. (Brewer) Sherburn

       Lydia C. Sherburn, 95, of Bloomsburg passed away Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015, at Balanced Care of Bloomsburg. She was born Oct. 7, 1919, in Volinia, Mich., a daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Cropsey) Brewer.
       She attended schools in Michigan and worked at Simplicity Pattern, Niles, Mich., for many years. Lydia enjoyed crocheting, bingo, games, and playing the lottery. She enjoyed living in Florida for over 16 years, and Riverview Apartments in Catawissa for the last eight years. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her family.
       Lydia is survived by her daughter, Norma Middleton, and husband, Robert, of Bloomsburg; two grandchildren: Mike Middleton and wife, Lynn; and Mindy Stauder and husband, Jim; and seven great-grandchildren: Kyle, Curtis, and Ariel Middleton; Becky Thomas; Emily Dinger; Hannah Mitchell; and Maggie Stauder; and three great-great-grandchildren: D.J. Dinger; Adelyn Dinger; and Olivia Mitchell; also, a brother, Ed Brewer, of Michigan.
       Lydia was preceded in death by her parents as well as six brothers: Rolland, Bob, Elmer, Harvey, Donald, Ken; and an infant sister.
