Mariam I. Miller, 85, of Sunbury went to be with the Lord Saturday February 25, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born December 1, 1931 in Geneva, New York, a daughter of the late George and Sara (Pressler) Desbrough.
She graduated from Geneva High School. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and doing crafts. Mariam was devoted to her family. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mariam is survived by seven children; Christine Miller of Sunbury, Edward Mitchell wife Sophia of New York, David F. Miller wife Deb of New Jersey, Melvin Miller wife Dorothy, Marvin Miller, Martin Miller, and Kathleen Geiswite, all of New York, eleven grandchildren: Shasta Allen, Caiden Cardell, Christian Mitchell, Jake and Emily Miller, Cheyenne Miller, Amanda, Jessica, and Courtney Miller, Consetta Miller, and Michael Miller, and many nieces and nephews.
Mariam is preceded in death by her husband Francis Miller who passed away March 16, 2008, daughter Theresa Allen who passed away August 2004.
A memorial service will be held Saturday March 4, 2017 at 11:00 am Ridgeview Evangelical Free Church, 1318 Susquehanna Trail (Route 147), Northumberland, PA 17857 with Pastor John Patti officiating.
