Michael P. Owen

Michael P. Owen, 63, of Catawissa, PA passed away on May 14, 2025 at his residence.

Michael was born in Shamokin, PA in 1962 to the late John R. and Patricia A. (Manley) Owen. He attended St. Edwards grade school and graduated in 1979 from Our Lady of Lourdes High School.

Michael is survived by his two sisters, Jacqueline Muggio  and Ann Stevens both of Mechanicsburg and a brother, Robert and his wife Yvonne of Copley, OH.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nephews.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a heavy equipment operator for several coal mining companies in the area.

Michael lived in Catawissa for over 30 years and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He and his many friends also enjoyed these same activities at Michael's home.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the convenience of the family.
