Mildred M (Boughter) Blass

Mildred M. Blass, 98, of Elysburg passed away Tuesday November 29, 2016 at Maria Hall. She was born August 15, 1918 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late William A. and Hazel (Ohl) Boughter.
She graduated from Catawissa High School. Mildred enjoyed gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, word finds, watching Penn State football, sewing, stock car racing, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mildred is survived by two daughters; Gail Feese and husband James, Lynne Gish and husband Leroy, all of Catawissa, four grandchildren; Dr. Eric Feese, Jason Feese Lt. Col., Michele Petro, and Dyan Murphy, four great-grandchildren; Chase and MolliLyn Petro, Erica and Holly Feese. As well as two sisters; Frances “Pat” Kemp of Bloomsburg, Vivian Gayeskie and husband Tony of Harrisburg, and brother James Boughter and wife Gail of New Jersey.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Paul Blass who passed away in 1987, brother William Boughter, and sister Claire Boughter.
A memorial service will be held Thursday December 15, 2016 at 10:30 am at Grace UCC, Millgrove, 1 Pension St., Catawissa with Pastor David Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Mill Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be sent to Grace UCC, Millgrove.
