Myrtle E. Fisher, 80, of Bloomsburg, went to be with the Lord Wednesday December 9, 2020 at the Bloomsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center, Bloomsburg. She was born June 20, 1940 in Hampden, Maine, a daughter of the late Ross and Emma (Holland) Lane.
Myrtle was a 1960 graduate of Waterville High School, Maine. She as a member of St. John’s Community Church in Catawissa. Myrtle used to work as a manager at the former Rea and Derick now known as CVS. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and working in her flower beds. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Robert F. Fisher, whom she married on June 10, 1961, three children: Theresa Valencik and her husband Steven of Catawissa, Todd Fisher of Catawissa, and Tami Kramer and her companion Ryan Hartman of Bloomsburg. As well as seven grandchildren; Derick, Zachary, Ryan, Destinee, Aaron, Celeste, and Caisey, seventeen great-grandchildren, and nine siblings; Carl, Ralph, and Charlie Lane all of Maine, Dolly Fields of Bloomsburg, Betty Trott of Missouri, Lenna Weeks, Judy Bourque, Sharon Lane, all of Maine, Dotty Lane of Bloomsburg, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by parents as well as two brothers Fred and Raymond Lane.
Services will be announced at a later date.
