Nancy Beeman Obituary

Nancy J. Beeman, 79, Bloomsburg, passed away on Thursday February 27, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born August 17, 1945 in Shamokin, a daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Bartlinski) Tarlecky.

Nancy was raised in Mount Carmel but lived in Bloomsburg for most of her life. She worked at Kawneer as a switchboard operator until her retirement.

She was a kind person who loved doing things for others. That made her happiest. She would even bake cookies for the entire floor of the hospital after her visit for surgery. She could never go shopping without buying something for someone else. She was always thinking of someone.

Family was everything to her. She had picnics at her house for any and every occasion. She loved cooking and having everyone together, especially to play some cards.

The last year had been difficult for her, yet she continued to worry and take care of family. She was like a second mother to them and they loved her for it.

She had many dogs, cats, and grand pets that she loved to spoil.

She is survived by her husband Bill, who’s love for her is very deep. She is also survived by her daughter Chrissy (Gregorowicz) Welkom and husband Gene, son John Gregorowicz and wife Linda, step son (more like a son) Billy Beeman and wife Terry. As well as two grandsons: Johnnie Gregorowicz and fiancé Jeanne and Matthew Gregorowicz, who meant the absolute world to her. She also had many nieces, nephews, and stepchildren who were very close to her and considered her a second mom, as she loved them like her own.

Nancy was preceded in death by her siblings Robert Tarlecki, Edward Tarlecky and John (Jack) Tarlecky.
