Nancy Bittner Spiece 86, of Catawissa, went to be with the Lord Wednesday April 20, 2022, at UMPC in Harrisburg.
Nancy was born August 27, 1935, in Bloomsburg a daughter of the late, Alfred and Bernice (Yeager) Burge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Luther Bittner, two daughters, Debra Pritchard and Sherry DeBalko, and sister Betty Lou Schrader.
She was a graduate of Centralia High School and spent all of her life in the Columbia County. She loved to shop and return items. Most of all loved to spend time with family.
Nancy is survived by her husband, William Spiece who she married on April 20, 2002, her children; Brenda Townsend and her husband Okey of Harrisburg, Ken Bittner and his wife Mary Ann New Cumberland, Judy Miscik and her husband Mark of Harrisburg, Kathy Bittner of Catawissa, Keith Bittner and his wife Jan of Catawissa, Scott Bittner and his wife Renee of Myrtle Beach, and son in law Stan Prichard of Cincinnati. As well as twelve grandchildren; Brandon, Beth, Jonathon, Kristie, Sean, Stephanie, Alexis, Jessica, Hunter, Savannah, Haylee, and Abby, and four great grandchildren; Emily. Remi, Landon, and Rowan. A sister Joanne Blazina of New Bloomfield.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 2:00pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 27 Ringtown Mountain Rd. Catawissa Pa. 17820, with her Pastor Gordon Smith officiating, Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
