Nancy J. (Carl) Leiby

Nancy J. Leiby (age 93) of Elysburg PA died peacefully at home on October 31, 2025. She was daughter to Jacob and Bessie Carl (both deceased). Nancy was married to Robert W. Leiby (deceased). Also preceding her in death were brothers Leroy Carl and Jamie Carl and sister Lois (Carl) Krum.  She is survived by: brother Richard Carl (Millmont PA); children Robert (Naples FL), David (Elysburg PA), and Janet Kovach (Berwick PA); 8 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren. 

Nancy was diligent in her concurrent careers of homemaker, garment manufacturing, and family farm. 

She served and worshipped faithfully at Bethel church (Catawissa PA). Being born-again (Bible, John 3:3) by faith in her Lord Jesus Christ, she was looking forward to seeing her eternal home in heaven. 

A private grave side burial will be held. To be announced later, a Celebration of Life will be open to extended family and friends in July.
