Pauline A (George) Breisch

Pauline A. (George) Breisch, 88, of Bloomsburg passed away on Saturday April 29, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born November 27, 1934 in Franklin Township, a daughter of the late Paul and Carrie (Arlene) George.

She graduated from Catawissa High School class of 1953. On June 20, 1953 she married G. Ernest “Ernie” Breisch. Throughout their 66 years of marriage she assisted Ernie with his coal delivery route and then his service station and garage. She then later worked for Weis Markets in Bloomsburg as a cashier for many years.

Pauline enjoyed gardening, word and jigsaw puzzles, bird watching, and most of all loved spending time with family and friends. She will always be remembered for her warm and contagious smile.

Pauline is survived by her three children: Darla A. Stutzcage and husband Edward of Centralia, Gary E. Breisch and wife Brenda of Bloomsburg, and Rodney P. Breisch of Bloomsburg, four grandchildren: Edward, Tracy, James, and Jeffery, five great-grandchildren: Rebekka, Zachary, Nicholas, Xavier, and Claire, sister Audrey Barlow (husband Charles,) and brother Dennis George (wife Cindy).

She was preceded in death by her husband Ernie, who passed away August 26, 2019, daughter Cindy Diane Breisch, grandson Jeremy Breisch, and sisters Ruth Artley and Donna Mae Dunkle.

There will be a grave side service at Elan Memorial Park on May 4th with Pastor Robert Hettinger officiating.
