Ray E. Hoffman Sr., 81, of Catawissa passed away Sunday February 28, 2016 at Geisinger-Bloomsburg Health Care. He was born May 15, 1934 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late R.A. and Alma (Levan) Hoffman.
He attended schools in Catawissa and worked at Milco Manufacturing. Ray enjoyed watching nascar and going hunting and fishing.
Ray is survived by his wife the former Donna E. Fronk, whom he married in 1977 and three children; Ray E. Hoffman Jr. and wife Jane of Bloomsburg, Donald Hoffman of Milton, Lisa Hoffman of Turbotville, three step-children; Joey Coladonato and wife Kristi, Valeria Schultz, Sherry Steimling, a brother Guy Hoffman of Catawissa, and sister Arlene Hoffman of Catawissa. As well as four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents as well as a granddaughter Jennifer Hoffman.
Graveside services will be held Friday March 4, 2016 at 10:00 am at Freewill Cemetery, Old Reading Road, Catawissa, with Pastor Robert Strozyk officiating. Family and friends may send online condolences to allenrhornefuneralhome.com.
