Raymond L. Hauck

Raymond L. Hauck, 84, of Danville passed away Friday August 5, 2016 at Maria Hall.
He was born in Bloomsburg on July 6, 1932, son of the late Lloyd Hauck and Geraldine (Howell) Hauck Field. Raymond was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School, Class of 1950. He then joined the United States Coast Guard and later attended Williamsport Community College. He started and operated Hauck Contracting for over thirty years, building many pole buildings and homes throughout the area. Raymond loved to travel with his wife and family in their motor home. He played the saxophone in the Danville Community Band, Teteque Band of Williamsport, and the Catawissa Military Band. He belonged to Bloomsburg Elks #436, Washington Blue Lodge #265, and Caldwell Consistory. He was a member of Grace UCC, Millgrove.
Raymond is survived by his wife, the former Faye S. Mensch, whom he married September 17, 1955; daughter Diane Long and husband David and son Gary Hauck and wife Joan, all of
Danville; four grandsons, Christopher (wife Jamie) and Matthew Long, Jeffrey and Jonathon Hauck; and sister Emma Green and husband Ernie of Mifflintown, PA.
A memorial service will be held Monday August 15, 2016 at 11:00 am at Grace UCC, Millgrove, 1 Pension St., Catawissa, PA 17820 with his Pastor David Adams officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will follow at the church cemetery in Millgrove.
