Robert "Bob" A Hashagen

Robert “Bob” A. Hashagen Sr., 87, of Bloomsburg passed away on Friday October 6, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born on January 13, 1936 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Fred and Dora (Baker) Hashagen.

He attended Catawissa School. In his younger years he coached little league baseball. Bob loved working on cars, wood working, and going deer and bear hunting. He was a former social member of the Catawissa VFW Post 8306 and Catawissa American Legion. Bob worked at the former TRW and retired from Textron.

Bob is survived by four children; Robert “Bob” A. Hashagen Jr. of Danville, Brenda Bennett husband Donald Jr. of Bloomsburg, Linda Hashagen of Washingtoville, Bonnie Auman husband Terry of Elysburg, ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and sister Betty Stine of Catawissa.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife the former Jessie Getkin, who passed away in 2004, two brothers; Fred and William Hashagen, and two sisters Mae Thomas and Geraldine Rhodes.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday October 11, 2023 11:00 am at Hillside Cemetery, Catawissa with Pastor Mike Spagnuolo officiating.
