Roger Alan Steffen

Roger Alan Steffen, 66, of Catawissa passed away on June 26th, 2022. He was born in Danville, PA on July 5th, 1955. Roger graduated from Southern Columbia Area High School in the Class of ’73 and then proceeded to graduate from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology with a specialty in Masonry. 

Roger was a self-taught musician who spent many years playing the piano and the violin.

He was survived by foster parents Marlin and Carol Schock, foster brother Christopher Schock, foster sister Susan Harder, and three children, Eric Steffen and wife Michelle Steffen, Amy Steffen, and Laura Steffen.

Graveside funeral services will be held at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ at 42 Ringtown Mountain Road, Catawissa, PA 17820 (Red Brick Church in Numidia) on Friday, July 15th at 11:00 am.
