Rolanda “Lonnie” Althouse

Rolanda “Lonnie” Althouse 47, of Catawissa, passed away, Wednesday September 16, 2020, surrounded by her family, at Geisinger Medical Center Danville, after a short battle with Cancer. 

Lonnie was born December 2, 1972 in Lancaster Pa; a daughter of Judy (Gross) Althouse of Catawissa and the late Roland Althouse who passed in 2000.

Lonnie was a graduate of Southern Columbia High School, Class of 1991. She worked at Walmart as a CSMA for five years and a Photographer at Sears for 22 years. She was a fundraising member for Catawissa fire company for 18 years. Lonnie loved helping anybody out, you could be her worst enemy and need help and she would be first in line to help. Lonnie loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sister Pam Eppinette and her husband Dion of Catawissa, four nieces and nephews, Mark Eppinette and his wife Krista, Kayla Eppinette, Destiny Yeager and her husband Chandler and Roland Eppinette, four great nieces and nephews, Ayaa, Kaycen, Gabe and Abigail.

Family will receive friends, Thursday September 24, 2020, from 4pm till 6pm at the Allen R. Horne Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 193 McIntyre Rd Catawissa Pa. 17820. CDC requirements will be in effect, services will take place at a later date.
