Thelma May Fetterman, 92, of Catawissa passed away Wednesday, December 07, 2016 at her home.
She was born January 28, 1924 in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Sherman and Grace (Boop) Sevison.
Thelma graduated from Ralpho Township Schools. She was a seamstress for over forty years. She is a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church, where she also attended the Friendship Circle. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and tending to the family blueberries patch.
She was preceded in death by her husband James U. Fetterman who passed away April 29, 2006 and a grandson Mathew Fetterman, a brother Elwood Sevison and two sisters Doris Romania and Virgina John.
Thelma is survived by two daughters Sandra Brophy and her husband Charlie and Bonnie Tharp and her husband Ben all of Elysburg, a son Robert J. Fetterman of Brazil and a daughter-in-law Audrey Fetterman of Catawissa and seven grandchildren: Melissa Fetterman, Joe Davis, Rebecca and James Reinaker, Jesse Fetterman, Jeff Brophy and Kelly Seidel and nine great grandchildren: Whitney Davis, Landon Clapper, Charlotte and Craig Reinaker, Jacob Fetterman, Alexus and Brianna Fetterman, Tyler and Reese Brophy.
At the request of Thelma, a private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at the Bethel United Methodist Cemetery.
