Timothy (Tim) Gundlach 68, of Catawissa, went to be with the Lord, On Friday November 8, 2024, at his residence.
Tim was born, August 1, 1956, in Philadelphia, a son of the late, Charles and Katherine (Anderson) Gundlach.
Tim was a graduate of Roxborough High School in Philadelphia PA; he worked as a truck driver throughout most of his life. He was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church, the Masonic Cedar Lodge #378, Mt. Carmel Lions Club and a volunteer Firefighter in Sanatoga PA
Dad was the true definition of a hard worker. He dedicated his life to providing for his family and never hesitated to lend a hand to those in need. He was the backbone of our family-the one we all turned to for support and guidance. He did everything with a sense of passion and care that was felt by everyone around him.
An avid outdoorsman, Dad had a deep love for the outdoors, often finding peace and joy in the simplicity of nature. He was an animal lover with a big heart who shared his life with our beloved pets.
He cherished every moment with his family, especially in his role as Pop. He also adored his grand puppy, who brought him much happiness and comfort.
Tim is survived by his wife Kelley (Marlow) Gundlach whom he married on September 17, 1983, three daughters, Kimberly Dawn DeNucci and husband Brian of Centuria WI., Laura Katherine Gundlach of Bloomsburg PA, and Kelley Ann Witmer and husband Daniel of Newmanstown PA. Also two grandchildren Kayla Nicole Campbell and Dylan Lee Witmer, two brothers Charles Gundlach and his wife Sherry of Birdsboro PA, and William Gundlach of Ulysses PA. and a sister Cynthia Savini of Acto NJ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as Nicole and Joe Starr and their daughters Ava and Emma who called him Poppie.
Services will be Saturday November 16, 2024, at the Zion United Methodist Church, Mid Valley Road Route 42 Aristes PA. 17920 at 11:00am, with his Pastor Rose Marquardt. The burial will follow at Aristes Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am till time of service. The Masonic Lodge will do a service at 11:00 am.
