William Robert Nuss, 74, of Catawissa passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his home.
He was born February 8, 1942 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Russell and Arlene Sassaman Nuss
He graduated from Catawissa High School in 1960. He served in the National Guard where he attained the rank of Sergeant E-5 and was honorably discharged in 1968. He was a Township supervisor for Catawissa Township for eighteen years. He retired from Milco Industry’s and he farmed for his entire life. Bill was an avid hunter.
Bill was preceded in death by a grandson Jonathan Stellar.
He is survived by his wife the former Sueann (Bunge) with whom he married November 24, 1962 and two sons Roger W. Nuss and his wife Roseanne of Catawissa Twp. and Robert E. Nuss of Franklin Twp. and a daughter Brenda and her husband Brian Cook of Catawissa and five grandchildren James Nuss, Ashley Panton, Jessy Rutter, Cecelia and Evelyn Cook and five great grandchildren Caleb, Ashtyn, Evan, Demi and Eleni and a sister Elaine and her husband Robert Dreisbaugh of Exton.
